i have not heard one acidcore track with the slightest amount of trance in it.

then again, i have not heard much acidcore :(

psytrance/techno/breaks/dnb/anything... if it uses delays with profuse ammounts of feedback, or is just pretty complicated in general, I'll probably like it

I've heard of space noise. It's basically just the kind of sounds you'd expect to hear in space: pulsar flashes, residual background radiation from the Big Bang, bass frequencies pouring out of black holes, low hums of passing interstellar cargo ships, alien pad noises droning from outside the disection room. Sometimes known as dark ambient, just with a cosmic atmosphere rather than a horror atmosphere.
