I wasn't talking about their selections. I was talking about the size of the lists. In case you didn't notice, I did include the entire field of trance for him to sample, not just a minor niche. If you're going to recommend something, go for the glory.

sykonee: they only know the uplifting stuff, barely any of them go into goa, ambience, prog, freeform, etc

granted... my list is pretty much all uplifting trance.. why bother typing in other forms when you know the person wants uplifting?

new to the scene, trance is the most happy one that he/she has heard of.. tons of reasons! SOUNDS GOOD WHEN YOU'RE BLASTING HIGH!

He wasn't specific for any particular style. He just asked for trance. So, I gave a list of trance of all forms. If he was just looking for something pop-ish, then, should he choose to indulge in the list I supplied, I've just given him a head start for when he decideds to actually explore trance in all its many styles.
