no more ID&T Radio
As from coming January 1st 2005 ID&T will change their name to SLAM FM. This has to do with a new top40 dance format
The marketshare of ID&T radio is too low (0,4%) to get in commercially done. The new format should change this with more top40 dance. In june 2003 id&t radio received a restricted FM license. In the case of id&t radio it means they must play special very recent music and can only play on average one chartsingle per hour. However id&t radio found a trick; every chartsingle has been edited (id&t fm edit) so its not the original single anymore. As you might noticed a lot of shows already stopped, like True House Music and Q-dance. Fortunately A State of Trance will remain but quite likely at another timeslot. website Last edited by Trancer; Dec 30, 04 at 05:26 PM. |

i can see the label and the radio station getting a bit more separate the station has been doing poorly for a while, its unfortunate because ID&T has some nice artists under its belt. its true tho, they do favor their artists a bit too much, especially at major events ASOT will remain i think no matter what. its one of the biggest international radio shows, next to the essential mix nothing surprising tho, we see the same trend on the home turf. the beat changing its format to top 40 shit happens. people have to eat |
