I used to listen to Bass Is Base, and it's strange you posted this, I was just remembering them last night,
an alternative band from a decade ago! But I haven'g got into her since '94/95. Too my own detriment. In '00 she came to Vancouver, and I was almost ployed into going to her show, but it never happened. I suppose the show was very good.

The first time I've listened to her since Bass Is Base today, and on shit quality speakers wtih RealPlayer. I'll have to go into a music store soon and listen to her. This is where I'm listening to samples from "Brown" by Ivana. I'm not taken by this music at all.
