Clubs & Clubbing..
Ok locally I've only been to a couple of clubs before I realized that clubbing just ain't for me. I've been to Purple Onion, Daddyos, Barfly, Funky Planet and The Plaza, they all have there own uniqueness and everything and it's not that I don't like the music it's just the atmosphere. I alway's see these fights breakout cause some dude is dancing with some other dudes GF and there's like no way to tell that she isn't single y'know. Plus all the clubs I've been to seem to be the Player/Hardcore/Hardcore Wannabe type which I used to be but I'm not anymore, now I'm just up for a good time and meeting new people, trying new things. Does anyone know of any good clubs, pubs, bars that are different than all these Hip-Hop, R&B clubs? I just want a place that plays some Jazz, Blues whatever, reggae you know, different thing's than all this mainstream crap(I can't stand it) can someone help me on my journey?
PS.. is the Mesaluna any good? I really wanna go check it out cause I think Latin dancing would be really fun.. jive dancing.. I love to dance hehe.. (Most club dancing = swing hips and arms[WoW! how hard is that?]) BTW.. the lounge room at Purple Onion was pretty dope when I went on friday, they played D'n'B, Breaks, Reggae and old school hip-hop :)

I wanna check out messluna cause some pretty neat bands play there on mondays/tuesdays
Try going to cheeky. It's at the stone temple, on granville street. From what I've seen, the people there are pretty laid back oh, it's on wed i believe.

everyone is so nice there *yay!* only been once but goin again tonite!! its hard house/trance tonite mmmmm *drools* otherwise i hate clubbing too unless theres someone i want to see spin :Star: PS my friends dad owns (owned?) mesa luna its a pretty cool place.. older crowd though. I don't care about the age of the crowd, just as long as there cool.. you know.. real partiers, chillers, music lovers(what I consider the hardcore party people) and sorry Form & Kaos I haven't heard a good set from you guy's yet :( and I'm a huge hard house/trance fan.. but I mean you guy's have your own style and your own crowd and I'm just not into the music you spin..

Well ive never expereince a fight at a club?(that i know of)
My favorites would be 7 Alexander and 23 cordova freindly chilling vibe mostly good music and never known of any fights breaking out Been to cheeky and lime a few times, and they seem pretty good too. Other wise ive hered good reviews on sonar, some nights can be awsome, but then some can be realy mainstream? Just make sure to check out what there playing on what night...
