Marty, check this site out:
http://www.headphone.com/layout.php?...&subTopicID=26 It has a lot of headphones from different price ranges along with pics and info for each. Personally, I use the Sony MDR-v700 for DJing and Sony MDR-v500 for computer and listening purposes. The 700's cost about $200+ and the 500's cost about $100. They are both worth the buck. |

I have Sennheiser HD 280 and they're good EXCEPT the headband ends crack and break. Gonna get them fixed before the 2 year warranty ends and if the parts are the same flimsy design I'll just duct-tape them up for strength and use for a while longer.
They have a new model HD 215 that they claim is designed for DJ use but no reports yet. There's some guys on tranceaddict that highly recommend Sony 7506 or V6 (not V600!). Say they are similar to Senn HD 25 but only about $100 USA. |

I've got the Stanton DJ Pro3000 headphones.
I think they cost about $130 http://www.topdjgear.com/stdjpro30djh.html I love em. Pretty solid. Sounds is good even playing at clubs and raves and what not. |
