iPod DJ Mixer
Apparently it's real, but not quite ready to be sent to the production line.
It looks pretty, but I sure as hell don't need one. http://createdigitalmusic.com/index....=444&Itemid=44 |

People laugh, but it's certainly the future. CD's have already replaced vinyls for any DJ who travels the world, simply because of convinience.
If you can carry a few years worth of music in your pocket, and now mix with it? What's to stop the industry from moving in that direction. Nostalgia VS money ... I mean it's sad but money almost always wins. |

i think thats a stupid design... it would be better if you can just use 1 ipod, and the mixer will have enough built in memory to process 2 mp3s out of the ipod at the same time.
and playing the mp3s off memory would make having a pitch shift more possible the idea is there but anyone who invests in that thing will be wasting their money |

Actually it does, it just shows that he's 2 years ahead of the game.
All that numark is doing is regurgitating someonelses idea that's already 2 years old. If that doesn't make the original idea stand out, I really don't know what does. I'm arguing the concept itself, not the medium that it's represented. That's the part you're missing, dude. |
