'right where it belongs' imo is the best track on that cd; and after going through the track selection, the cd is actually pretty solid, 'you know what you are' and 'love is not enough' are the only two songs that I didn't think were up to par. besides that, every single song on the cd is good atleast.

'All the Love in the World' is probably my favorite track.
I'm suprised to hear that some people didn't like 'Love is Not Enough', I liked that one a lot. The only track that I didn't like was 'You Know What You Are?'. I've historically liked NiN noise, but this track didn't do it for me. I think that most of the tracks on this album are average, but Trent has really taken his vocals to the next level and I think that sets it apart. Plus, lets face it folks, it's Nine Inch Fucking Nails and there's just something special about Trent's music. Holy shit I can't wait for the live show. The Fragility tour was AMAZING. |

^ that would be awesome, wish I could make it out for that :)
I think the brilliant thing about this album and every album Reznor has released is that they are all different. He doesn't write the same album twice like most other bands. He took a much more minimal approach to this album. Why do people try to pigeonhole NIN as purely industrial all the time. Trent Reznor is way to talented to be doing that. Not that it matters much but to clarify things a little, NIN is not a group, it is one person :) |
