besides a couple sections of the CD, i love it. Some of the tracks really reminence as well. Going to pick this up soon. Jay which place has the vinyl? Virgin?

meh, i liked a couple songs on it and disliked some of it. Not blow-away by any means but I didn't feel ripped off.

The first time I listened to it I didn't really like it, but every time I listen to it I like it more and more.
So yeah, needless to say, I am absolutely LOVIN this NIN album. :377:

actually i'm calling him a moron, just like i did the last three albums, everytime someone is dissapointed cause they want more PHM or TDS stuff. trust me, it'll grow on you, and in a year or two when you dig it out, you'll like it. happens every fucking time, and i hate the whole
"new-NIN-isn't-as-good-as-it-used-to-be-bandwagon"
that everyone jumps on.

The single is REALLY lacking. I mean Reznor is supposed to be somewhat of an industrial genious yet "The Hand That Feeds" is quite possibly the most boring and uninventive song I think i've ever heard in the genre. The lyrics just simply are not up to par with the though provoking lyrics of NIN-past. To main riff is "ok" but the song really goes no-where. There is no direction to the song at all, once again unlike NIN-past. I haven't heard the rest of the album ,which I hear is much better. I really hope it is.....

Also why the bashing of the guy that hates the album???

Hahahahahahaa... nice review. This album isn't as good as I was expecting it to be. I liked their first album ever - that was the best.

I don't think it's as good as their last album but there are still a few tracks that are genuine NIN tracks. I think the more you listen to it, the more it grows on you. I was disappointed with it my first time through it but I kept listening to it and I'm glad I did because it does get better with time.

I didn't get into the Fragile until a good year after I purchased it. I'll give this one more time...

I think part of it is the lyrics really don't speak to me like they used to. I've always loved the tunes and production, but even when the Fragile came out I wasn't feeling the lyrics at all. Maybe i need to get my heart broken again or something...

i had "it's a bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s" grow on me after my coworkers played that shit non-stop, but it doesn't mean it's a good song.
