yah sometimes it's even less than that all depends on how faster or slower the other track is goin than the other. Sometimes it's all ready set by the other record you just took off and bam it's already locked and ready to go. I love it when that happens, that's when you start doing really quick mixes lol.

when i first started doing it. I was mixing hard trance cause the newer stuff all sound the same up until the break
and even if the break is very minimal and say on other track there is a breakbeat as an intro. never hurts to throw some breaks over top the buildup until the 4/4 is ready to go. |

Try a genre called "trancecore/upfront". It's like trance (well, a bit harder and faster) and only has 2-3 mins of the main part. The other 2 mins are the intro and outro (usually). That way you could get a lot of 'speed' mixing practice cause you won't have lots of time to beatmatch. And once you go down to spinning your normal trance - everything will seem way easier.
