the sounds from club, makes it feel like you are right in the middle of the dance floor watching jelo....
Live.mix was recorded at the Baseline in Halifax, NS and it seems like a fairly energetic crowd due to Jelo’s pick of music. 2 Wars and Eastern Bloc records has started The Project (could have come up with a bit better name) whick is great DJ’s in a live setting. Very similar to Moonshine’s Mixed Live series. Jelo is the first edition of this energetic mix and he is able to manipulate his style of slamming techno and house abilities to bring the crowd to a complete frenzy. Most of the tracks are unknown to this reviewer but one track to note is Donald Glaude’s “Da Bomb” which is craftily remixed by Jelo. If these slamming live albums keep surfacing there won’t be any need to go out to raves anymore.
