CDJ's (home set up use)

Im curiouse what some of you DJ's have at home and what would you recomend for a home set up?

Im still more focused on primarly using vinyl, but Id like to expand the mediums I use.

From what ive notice the pioneer collection seems to have the best rep. Im not sure if its worth the investment for a the 800 or 1000 OR if the 100 and 200 would do me just fine for using in my own home set up?

while having had hands on decks very little, i have messed with different pioneer decks..and all i can say is if you're used to actual tables, the 100 and 200s are going to feel like kids toys compared to the 800 and up.

If moneys tight and you're just wanting them for home use...I dunno....if i was going for a first set of decks i wouldn't get anything below the 800s for cd decks. but now im rambling :)

well... don't wanna pay the extra 200 dollars for the cdj 800.... then I think maybe the stanton c.304 would do the job....its been getting some good reviews from some known dj's such as dj rap.... infact I think she is there spokes person for it.......
They go for about 500 each....
here's a pic of it

I really really want serato scratch live. It's a more viable solution to use at home.

Ofcorse Id love to have an 800+... but thats a whole lot more $$$$ and like I mentiond this is for home use. Do those who have them really use all the extra features?

I notice there seems to be a drastic price drop if its not pioneer. However it seems like thats what everyone is going for and all I see or use when playing out. Ive been told that the pioneers are absolutly great quality. Can the same be said about some of the other cdj's? Whats the reason the pioneers are so much more?

I've got one CDJ 100 and a Denon Dns-1000. Obviously a pair of cdj 1000 mk2's would be fucking awesome, but they're justa bit pricey. What I have works for me for now.

The CDJ 200 is basically like the 100 but it has looping and allows you to play mp3's. Also the pitch adjust is in finer increments which is very helpful.

i'm waiting on a CDJ-800 to arrive. Seems like the CDJ800/1000 are the standard.
