You want a better definiton of Neurofunk.. you got one!

Neurofunk dnb is a subgenre that came late in the tech step drum & bass era of the late 90's it was a sound that was pioneered by artists like BC, Teebee, matrix and others. While "tech step" was a hard, cold and driving sound, new production techniques came into place that would add more dynamics to the existing dark sounds that were already being absorbed by the culture. Tech step at the time was huge, but over time got a bit stale.. New production techniques like the filtering of the reese bass line, adding more filtering effets, rounding out, and extending time envelopes to create a more wett sound (some go as far as to call it liquid metal). The name neurofunk is a combination of the inteligent and scientific aspects of the sound versus the flex of the bass line which sometimes mimmicked the sound of a slap bass -- funk.

Neurofunk or not, but this tune is alright - good production and alright vocals. 8/10 imo - 2 points taken off for having almost the same style bassline as in Another Planet, lol.
