SoundBlaster troubles

I just got a Sound Blaster Audigy 2.. slotted it in the comp. installed the drivers and everything. the computer recognizes it, everything is there.. its set as default sound card and everything. but im getting no sound, tried my headphones and speakers i got nothin..

ive tried the help section i'm not really gettin anywhere, does anyone know a lot about this kinda shit?

turn your volume up in volume properties :)

hehe, maybe ur pluggin ur shit into the wrong output thing?

like 90% of the time its cause you didnt plug the headphone/speaker jacks into the right slot

if your motherboard comes with onboard sound, you might want to try disabling it in the bios first in case there are any irq conflicts

check volume settings in windows

i know its in the right output, looked at diagram and its color coded.. but i tried all of them just in case. made sure all my volumes were up.. ill try disablin the motherboard soundmax bs in bios yeah that could work

check to see if theres any device conflicts in the system - device manager.

tried that ^^.. disabled old. made sure new was fine.. check.

same issue, drove me nuts.
I literally had to remover all my asus drivers and reinstall to get it working

yeah i finally got it working , ^^ had to get rid of some other drivers and wiped everything out and tried again.. this time worked.
