Boomtown boxing day sale?
First off.. There is a new record store that is opening up today called "remix". Check it out, the dude said he'd be having boxing day prices.
The store is on Granville and davie, near the two parrots. Then.. is boomtown having its boxing day sale? I actually have money to spend now! |

correct... today only: 10% off all vinyl, cds, UDG record bags, EXACT SCIENCE & MIXERFRIENDLY Apparel, SHURE & STANTON turntable accessories + all books & mags. Hell, we'll even give you 10% off DJ Lessons if you sign up today.
I know, not as drastic as our usual boxing day/week sales, but we're building stock this year so we're not looking for a crazy blowout. However... anyoner wanting to make a serious dent in our HOUSE section, might be eligible for additional discounts... hmm, gonna have to stop in & check out this 'remix' joint... good to see another shop in the west end zone, although i have a hard time imagining what would posess someone to open a vinyl shop in the wake of all the recent closures....? |

Yeah, the guy that was there was the vinyl orderer from Virgin, Most of the tracks were from $11 - 12 which is better than any prices these days. He will do track orders, I picked up some rad hard trance and classic materials. He's got DNB, breaks, trance, house, hip hop and full LP's.
Awesome guy too.. Deffinitely check it out. |
