So I had the chance to go down and play a few records at Tribeca this evening, and I was surprised there wasn't more people there! It's a dope night for those that are looking for a chill spot, or are on the way to a club. Josh and Scott play a mix of liquid funk and deep house, and it suits the Tribeca/lounge feel perfectly.

If you're looking for some good food, good drink, and great music, check out Tribeca on Thursday nights! I hadn't been there in years, but it was definitely nice going back! :054:

You're point being? A lot of people go out during the week. It's not like Tribeca is a club either... it's a restaurant/lounge.

Many reasons people don't go there..one being, there are much better places u could be on a thursday nite.

between 2001-03 they had some good nights there. Its a really cool set up, with the front room, where you can smoke and chill. The "dance floor" is really awkward, but still workable. The owners a really cool guy(he was running the mau mau as well before it shit down) I think the real issue was certain people were throwing nights there, that didnt match the environment.

It would be awesome if someone fucking demolished the interior, put the bar closer to the partition between rooms/make is smaller(why the fuck was it so long in the first place?) and have chill seating in the far back(chill booths or something lounge like) and have a larger more cetralized dance floor.

WFB put on a few good breaks and dnb nights, that were perfect for just hanging out, when you didnt feel like a rager, but still wanted to hear something other than top40/house on a friday night.
