When I was living in Van, I'd say between $150 and $400. That was all at Audiopile, for the most part. I don't even want to know what I'm going to be dropping down on records once I've got enough cash for decks.

Luckly for me, I only buy genre specific tracks (mostly ragga) so really only 3 or 4 come our per month worth buying for me. So really, about 50-80 bucks per month. I feel sorry for you guys that need/have to buy pretty much everything that comes out in a certian genre (eg d&b), that must hurt the pocketbooks.

Once in awhile I'll go and drop $70 - $100... every couple months or so. I always try to make sure I really like both sides of the Tune unless one side is just pain Bomb-diggity!

I think almost every single big DJ I saw in Miami played with CD's and CD's only. Although I love how hands on vinyl is... MP3's and CD's are much more afordable and quicker... slowly changing over.

I used to spend £100 a week easy ....
before i got married and bought a house.

now i spend about £50 to £70 a month. its not that bad though, means im more selective with what tunes i buy and iv been buying more mp3s, plus the very occasional promo, which is nice :)

I'd say about 20 dollars worth of mp3s a week. I think if you compare that with buying ten records its a savings of about 180 dollars.

When I bought records I starved.

the only time mp3s are acceptable is if the tune hasnt been released on vinyl.

for some reason i find it very monotonous to watch a someone on cdjs
