Paul Wall? Great flow although it doesn't change much.
Mike jones? Who is Mike Jones? was probably one of the best from 05.

cha/bunb/paul wall are OK, I wouldn't say they are bad but they bite off of the same sound and share the same played recycled beats IMO....

Favorite albums from souff rappers are probably ATLiens by outkast (classic!) and will rap for food by cunninglynguists, why wouldn't these groups fall into the south category? Georgia is just about as south as it gets.

cuz whenver ppl mention southern rap.. it's cookie cutter beats with guys grunting/rapping at the same time.. Outkast is fucking dope and keeps reinventing themselves with original styles and beats.

The south is a bunch of cookie cutter, use the same beat, rap about money type bs. Cha annoys me and he doesn't deserve to be on the same track as krayzie bone IMO. p.wall is aiite at least he understands the concept of flow and not landin rhymes on every fuckin clap/snare , just too bad he recycles candy paint and his grill into every bar.

Id say the only quality rappers out of the south are cunninlynguists

I was primarily talking about the movement coming out of the south at the moment. Swisha House family. Outkast is in a league of their own and don't nesecarrily stick to that "southern sound" thats really popular right now. Judging by their last album. PS the new outkast track is aiite....

just because they are from the south doesnt mean they contribute to that sound.

i dont think 'south' when i hear an outkast album.

not to take anything away from them, but they definately are not contributing to any regional sound.
