record stores in N.Y.

I'm hoping some of you may have been to N.Y.C. and can help me out!

I'm heading to New York in a couple of days, and am staying in Manhattan (near Madison Square Garden). Wondering if any of you know of some good record stores to check out in that area, that cater to house/u.s. garage.

Any info would be appreciated!

If I was there I'd like to check out the Roxy club, 515 W 18th St, it's an old place that is a roller skating rink most nights but often has big DJ events such as July 29.
