My life was going along nicely before I got introduced to the 'rave culture' as you people know of today.

Could I be the same without it? Probably. Would I be the same person? No.

There is a very subtle line in that statement but those of you who have been around for a while will understand.

Making the decision to become part of the rave culture, or any culture for that matter, puts you on a different path in life if you decide to embrace it.

I know I would be a different person altogether due to the experiences and decisions, good and bad, that I have made while being part of this rave culture. I do know that if I never made that decision many years ago that I wouldn't be typing this now... hell.. I know for a fact I wouldn't know as much about life and others as I do now either.

^ I know what you mean dude, I feel the same way. If it wasn't for the rave scene I wouldn't of met some of my closest friends, then through meeting them I met other amazing people. If I never decided to sneak out of my house when I was 15 with my friend and hit up a Static rave at Minnisota's Billiards in Newton (76ave/king george hwy) I might be a totally different person with different experiances.

I made some good and bad decisions during my rave scene, some decisions cost me alot of money and stress, but it was a learning experiance. I learned so much about myself and I wouldn't trade my experiances for anything.

Id do ok without the parties but no dice on the no music. I was into electronic music before I knew what a rave was, and knew I would dj long before I went to my first party.

I dont think I would have had nearly as much fun though.... not even close.
