Have you ever had one of those amazing sets that you wish someone was there to enjoy it with you.

I JUST HAD ONE OF THOSE DAMMIT.

I just layed down the most sickest DNB set ive ever done, and i was so proud of myself, and im usually really hard on myself when it comes to djing. and i wished there was at least one other person there to enjoy it. dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It sucks!!!!!!! im gonna record every set from now on, or try to, but i hate keeping my eyes on the levels the whole time. if anything i need my laptop to be in front of me while mixing. which is hard because of my setup.


BAH fuck this. I just wished someone was there to just enjoy it while i was mixing it. it was sooo perfect.

I LOVE those sets.

I ususally don't play them live although I played a good one two Saturdays ago @ Tokyo Lounge before Dayhota. It was one of those sets where you were thankful that there were people around to hear you.

Aside from that, all of my good sets are in the bedroom. :P

Best sets I've ever played at home have been when I was going to record, finish a kickass set, and realize it wasn't recording at all. Or being like 45 mins through your set and then running out of /tmp space so the whole set becomes a writeoff.

Like ebbomega said. My buddy Yoshimojo and I were doing a back2back set and destroying tings... when he goes to check on the recording on the Computer he found that it kept recording over the same file so we only had the last 10 minutes. AUGH!

yup. it seems like the best sets are done when its not recording.
Theres no pressure when the record button is off.
