Where can I buy this t-shirt? If I ever see an other "dnber" grab a stranger's glow stick out of their hand, try and braek it and then chuck it... you dont want to know!!! Practice what you preach... RESPECT! BOH BOH BOH!!! |

^stealin peoples shit an disrespectin em aint cool no matter what music you listen to.
i love dnb. but any "agro DnBer" is just an agro knob that listens to dnb. and any agro knob is just an agro knob. leave drum and bass out of it, its just music, its NOT a lifestyle. someone should start a thread about all the retards who think electronic music is the be all end all, and subsequently shun all other great forms of music b/c they dont sound as trippy and fuzzy while rolling on "E-bOmBz" or for whatever other dumb reasons they can muster. |

But i made this thread specifically for the people who become "agro" as soon as they become a dnber. they actually think it's a form of lifestyle. |

I can tell you from all the karma I got, that atleast a shitload of people agree with me. I don't even think that you're understanding (or even trying to for that matter) to see where I'm coming from. "how can someone become a DnBer???"... uhh... when they start listening to DnB? hate to break it to you coldly, but noone was born a DnBer. :) the fact of the matter is that, I have nothing against Dnb fans or junglists. The people who tip me off are the ones who go all the way & go through a phase/personality change as soon as they start listening to DnB, or become "junglists". I've seen this, and I bet almost all of you have as well. Your valid arguement would be that these people are fakers, and not even true DnB fans, and are just leeching from the scene. In that case, I'd agree with you. I personally see them as wannabe's (hence the relation to 'hip hop wiggaz). And that's my solemn arguement here. Also, instead of just bashing me or the thread, I'd appreciate it if you would take 2 minutes and read the thread/posts. If you still have a problem, post your opinion. no need to start offending anyone. I did not state anywhere that i know everything about DnB. DnB isn't even my genre of choice! however, I did state that I love it, and I really do enjoy the music. And I don't think that you need a masters degree in DnB to know that offending people doesn't (err.. SHOULDN'T) have anything to do with the music. get what i mean? |

Hrrrm most of the junglists I have met seem pretty nice. I admit there are alot of "junglists" who associate what they listen to with their lifestyle. I think thats a fucking joke. Listen to the music, dance, party, or whatever but remember that the lifestyle you're trying to represent, you will soon grow out of. Theres a reason why you see few 23+ year olds calling themselves junglists (they grew up)

**marcelito quote = What the fuck are you talking about?? **
I'm talking about how house music SUX! In my own personal opinion of course. If someone else likes it, sure go for it. If it's on the stage or radio, sure I'll listen to it, I'll probly even tap my foot int time with it. But will I burn a cd of it or go to a Party to hear it? Hell No! I'm not a fan of house music (and it was more Hard house I was talking about in that post, that stuff annoys me, but I know alot of people that are annoyed by Jungle, so to each their own) Last edited by Felix; Sep 20, 05 at 01:35 PM. |

most of my friends are into dnb and they're all really nice. I do know the elitist-types you're talking about that feel the need to trash on everything but dnb (hell, I used to be one myself) but people grow out of that sooner or later. To define your entire character from the music you listen to is generally an immature outlook in life and most people get over that regardless of what they are listening to. Those that don't are simply laughed at.

I have never once seen you at a DNB event.
so how are u suppossed to be so educated on how "DnBers" act that go to these events? If there are so many FAKE "dNbers" out there that you feel the need to hate on them, then why isnt there more people out to support the DNB scene???? personaly i think our scene could use some improvement, so ANY FAKE DNBERS OUT THERE we need you at our shows!!!!!!! ALL of my friends a really nice, and i think that if you got to know them you'd change your mind GOD like Terrence, always settleing a dissagreement, hes one of the nicest ppl i know!!!!!! |

Firstly, you don't even know me. how would you know if I'm there or not? second of all, even if you did know me, you wouldn't see me there. I don't really go out to DnB events. but did i NOT just mention that DnB is not my genre of choice? Thirdly, what do you mean educated? My solemn arguement was that people are making personallities based on the scene. Fake is fake. Quote:

i do agree that there is a certain attitude in the dnb scene! but then again i don't think its fair to compare a house show with bar stars to a bunch of skate/breakers/dnb heads. were talking about two completely different groups of people! the mentality between the two for the most part are completely different. i admit i am generalizing here!!
its also not fair to say well "so and so is a really nice person". so if someones a bitch to someone they don't know and is nice to their friends does that make them a good person in general??? bri i'm not saying that your friends aren't nice to people they don't know(they're all really nice to me :) ) but who's to say how they interact with people that they aren't directly introduced to from a friend. i've brought friends out a few times to dnb shows and they all have strongly stated that it is VERY clique. whether we mean to be that way or not........i've heard it a million times |
