so ive decided to quit smoking, not a smoke here or there quitting completley, i hope i can do it this time, ive heard that it take someone like 25 times of trying to actually quit so, i guess mabey this time might work...hopefully

Eevry time yoou feel like having a cigarette, smoke a dube instead. That'll help you quit and if it doesn't, atleast you'll be good and baked for a few days.

a few people that i know have quit cold turkey.
all of them have said that if you can go a week and not fall into the cravings, the withdrawl eases up.
after day 14 apparently, if you are strong; you are in the clear.

I quit about 4 years ago. I only smoked for a year (during final exams) but even then it was tough to quit. I take the occasional drag now and then, I know it's difficult... :109:

i found quitting fairly easy... all i had to do was remove myself from situations when i used to smoke a lot - i.e. I smoked mainly at school... also with my boyfriend at the time cuz he was a hardcore smoker...so after leaving school and dumpin him, I found I did pretty well... but seriously, the only way to quit is to completely believe you can do it. and not give up, or make excuses for yourself. you CAN do it, everyone CAN - you just have to WANT to...
