was good times indeed.....until i got to my truck at the end of the night to find that it had been broken into!!.....idiots took my faceplate/cd book and a cheap diskman, but didnt look in the back where i had a snowboard and a vertigo light.....they didnt even take 10 bux worth of canadian tire $$..it was sitting on my seat?? stupid crackheads! - they made a mess of my dash board though!!

anyway....no drama.....im claimin

Isn't tribeca a restaurant? correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure the permit for a restaurant and club are differant so wouldn't it be illegal to charge people to get into a restaurant to see a dj as if it were a club?

What if i wanna go in to eat a humberger and i don't wanna see any dj's do i still have to pay?

Last time there was like a big table of people eating and when they left to smoke the people at the door tried to charge them to get back.

I'm sure that was a mistake......we're not that fucked. How can you guys complain about 2 dollars???? Its a fucking toony!!! Even five dollars to see Hyperfunk and Deliverence?? Come on. Think about it this way. Even if we were just gonna pay for their transportation here from Nanimo and Seattle. $80 bucks + Gas so lets say like $110 bucks for Jeremy and then gas for Hyperfunk which would probably be about $60 bucks with gas prices these days. Thats $170 dollars MINIMUM!!! Thats not even giving them any $$ for actually DJ'ing which is what should be done at every show a DJ plays at. Come on guys this is a small part of the reason why the scene in Vancouver is in the state that it is. I know theres lots of people out there that are fuckin broke(me being one of them) but sometimes you just gotta suck it up. You gotta give a little to get a little. Anyway hope everyone can make it down for next Friday cause they're gonna tear the fuckin roof off!! Don't forget to come early and see Blaze, Rory and I warm things up!!! Thank you to those that have supported us from the beginning!!! BOH!

I just started reading this thread now, and WOW. Cover charge to see talent?!?! OMG?! I know it's tribeca, but come on people...we come and throw down for free, the promoter is only trying to make enough money to pay for our travel. I mean, we take days off work to do this, the promoter usually isn't banking on the night and therefore is losing valuable time/days off work promoting it just so you can all have fun and dance to some good beats. Suck it up and pay the cost of a happy meal. They're doing this for YOU.
