but this is all for profit... I know this because i've thrown a few nights at lolbeca and they've never charged me for sound, equipment, all my dj's were booked by volunteer.

I dont know who in their right mind would pay for a night at a place they know they dont have to in order to get in.

Why tribeca? Tribeca is the venue where we hold Dynamix! and it just happens that our headlining guest dj is in town and we thought it would be a good idea to present this talent to you at our nite. As talent of that calibre doesn't come free of charge, well neither will Tribeca. What dont you understand about that? nuff said...

oh ya, this is aswell Capital J's CD release party so expect madness!

were going to come in early to set up Tribeca a bit more for dancin, would like to clear out some tables near the dj area to give a bit more elbow room.

what happens if 40 year olds come in wanting dinner? I doubt you and espicially management are going to deny them entry.

I dunno WTF your problem is dood but u gotta chill,If you think it is free to fly A dj out from t. and it being Cap J get him to play for free THEN it would be all for profit ya, but its not dumb ass if I make 25$ profit ill be stoked. not to mention.....it cost $$ to bring down djs of that caliber, and you are in the scene at all , youde know that the promoter has to pay out for having him! - .....SUPPORT!!!!

and why bring a "world class dj" to tribeca? he's just going to laugh at the venue and tell his friends that he got booked at some little restaurant by a promoter that has no connections in clubs.

Yes Jay is in town so? he still cost's cash to play my friend,and he has an understanding on wher he is playing im doing him a favor by getting him a gig on such short notice.And yes we will turn peeps's away who are ther for diner and dont want to pay cuz this is a special event.The house will be packed and im sure the boss man wont GIVE A SHIT!!!

im sure having a packed "restaurant" full of drinking ravers
(turning hungry people away) is goin to see more revinew in a day then any average restaurant/pub night
