Vancouver's newest fashionable upscale lifestyle magazine is launched under the name of ION. Celebrating its premier issue, ION Magazine will be holding a party at the Atlantis Club (1320 Richards Street) on Thursday, April 3rd. VIP's will enjoy complimentary drinks and food from 9:00-10:30 pm, with doors opening to the public at 10:00 pm. The festivities will run until 2 am. *** THIS IS A 19+ EVENT ***

The ION Magazine launch party will involve a night of revelation, exposure, and above all the promotion of Vancouver. The event will be sponsored by such companies as Buffalo Jeans (David Bitton), Coors Light, Bacardi Rum, Southcorp Wines Canada, and A-Wear @ Leone.
The night will include performances by DJ's Timeline, Ali, and Downlowe as well as a special guest performance. In addition promotional give-a-ways provided by Buffalo Jeans, Coors Light, and Leone Fashions will be raffled throughout the night.

ION Magazine is Vancouver's upscale fashionable lifestyle magazine. It is dedicated to putting an end to the belief that there is nothing to do in Vancouver by exposing all of the unique and emerging aspects of the city. ION targets a fashionably upscale audience between the ages of 19 to 35 and covers such topics as music, food, fashion, night life, automotive, and seasonal sports. ION Magazine is a monthly publication that is distributed through both an outgoing street team and key distribution sites, including retail outlets such as Buffalo Jeans, Virgin Megastore, and A-Wear @ Leone. ^You guys need to do a subscription service! Its a pain for me to get to all your distribution spots..... unless of course you set up a spot in North Burnaby somewhere.......

The concept of the magainze though is that it not be like a Goergia Straight or a Nightlife magazine and just left in mass ata store to be picked up. If you actually have a look at ION Magazine, you will see what I mean.

It is important to the staff of ION that the magazine that the magazine itself be personally handed out to people or copies only left in the stores that are in the market the magazine is targeting. An FYI that currently, only 20,000 copies will be distributed monthly making it something that people will want to have before it runs out!

^Point taken....there's an urban store in NorBurn called Diggstown that might be an appropriate place for you to distribute though.

^I don't.... I haven't been DT in like a month. Except when I go late night drinking at the Bourbon or Cambie but that don't count becasue all the stores are closed.

And I'm not OLD... I'm experienced..... come on over here so I can teach you a lesson. :c-tard:

I grabbed one..actually 2! yesterday @ Virgin...very professional, it doesn't look like it's free but it is! interesting articles..that aren't at all censored and the writers aren't afraid to speak what's on their mind.

my sis is grabbin me a copy tomorrow...im really excited to read it. ive been lookin at the website and updating with lawrence for a while now and i can't wait to see the first issue... should be a pretty cool urban lifestyle mag.
