Sure she's hot, sure she's pretty good, but I will never understand why people in this city like her. As a performer - as an act - she licks goat sac.

Allow me to compare some other big names to Anne Savage:

Carl Cox @ Commodore: "Come On Vancouver!" he'd yell swatting the air with vynil.

Tiesto @ Commodore: Dancing around like a twit, but we love him for it - he is after all Dutch.

Armin @ the Cave: DJ in this order: beatmatch, put headphones down, nod your head, put headphones on, mix, repeat - always attentive.

Taucher @ both Supersweets: Everyone who's seen this guy knows what to expect

Anne Savage @ Commodore: spent more time talking to people on stage than focusing on the floor. Displayed a "I don't give a shit about what happens out there" attitude. Was so hammered by the end of her set her mixes were off and her track selection was a joke. No journey, no love of the music, no crowd recognition, very few tricks, fuck all entertainment.

I'm going (to give her another chance - because she's a talented producer) but I pray this time will be better than last.
