Those fabulous Fluffgirl sinners are back in Vancouver to recruit some HOT Burlesque beginners! The Fluffgirl Burlesque Society presents "Dare to Bare" a novice night for aspiring burlesque starlets who will have an opportunity to win $100 in cash and prizes and perform with the Fluffgirls in Vancouver during their "World Domination" tour this Fall. This scintillating strip-tease contest takes place at The Media Club (695 Cambie St. Vancouver) on Wed. August 4th, 2004. Registration is between 9-10pm and the show starts at 10:30 sharp! Tickets are $10 available at the door. "Dare to Bare" features performances by Fluffgirls Mia More (Vancouver), Anna Mae (Toronto) and Fluffgirl founder, Cecilia Bravo (Vancouver/Toronto). Don't miss this special sneak peak at the Fluffgirls before they embark on there "World Domination" world tour this fall. ...and don't worry if you haven't got a thing to wear because that's just what we're looking for! For audition inquiries contact: [email protected] I'll be there shaking my stuff, so I just thought I'd see if anyone wanted to join me at a night of hot girls taking their clothes off, or maybe even join in on the competition! |

^ Media Club as a venue, regardless if there's strippers or Dan Mangan performing ( www.danmanganmusic.com ) , is always 19+ .

So who are these fluffgirls and how might a cat get his paws on them?

grrrrrrrrr, They aren't called strippers! At least in the contemporary sense; with burlesque there will be no pole humping, or nudity (sorry to dissapoint you!).
I'm starting to wonder if I should have invited everyone *giggles*. I was hoping for support (which I'll obviously get) but having you all there might make me even more nervous! eep! Oh well, even if I get a bit of stage fright I'm not set on winning, I just thought it was a great place for me to get my Burlesque career started. I still want you two to comeof course, I'm just allready getting preshow jitters and its a month away! haha) tvMann, that is there site but I wouldn't count on them being in vancouver too much because I think they've relocated to Toronto. Keep an eye on this site too ( www.kittencoquette.com ), she's a former member of the fluff girls and still puts on local shows with her new troupe "Ultra Vixens Peep Show" Last edited by MistressSpankME; Jul 06, 04 at 06:42 AM. |

Thanks for the pep talk Des :)I really hope you can make it.
And i just found out that the judging will be done by the audiences reaction, and even if 30 people in the audience are your friends, then you still win because you've obviously got something promising if you can round up 30 people to come watch. So COME!! Don't mind me and my silly fears, come and be LOUD for me! So Sue, that means you should probably do your drunkeness there haha. i dont know what time fireworks are, but the show starts at 10:30 and i know how hard it can be to get around before/during/ and especially after the fireworks. Its up to you but I'd really like you to be there for sure! |
