Hyper is one of my very good friends in the breakbeat scene. Guy was the first DJ I ever brought out to do a show with in Vancouver in 01'. It was at my first residency in the city, Zwack Fridays at the Legion. Wood, Hightower, Bulldog and I..... motley crew we were.... seems so long ago now.....

Anyways Guy rules. He's come so far over the years from his hugely successfull Y3K mixes, to the 2 Bedrock Breaks mixes, starting Waxworks still the #1 breakbeat promo company, as well as starting Kilowatt..... and he's only 26!

Breaks in the main room people!! Come and support .... the more heads we get, the more shows we get to do! Oh and Lorin Bassnectar is our November show....

wicked time at the legion, another at the drink year later or so, that was tops too.

good times, such a nice guy, partied with him in miami.. wait... i see fuzziness.. hahaha must have been good.

I still think the Y4K's have yet to live up to his great reigh of Y3K series. I appreciate seeing an artist like hyper, who is not only great on the decks, is also great business wise! He brings something a little different in his sets, kind of a techier, driving vibe that keeps consistant throughout, he not only plays the tracks for being bombs, but keeps the drive going, quick mixes when needed, and knows where to place what, like a jigsaw!

Holla for the main room! Czech does a great job week in and week out doing the warm up thing for the prog/ house/ techno big namers.... besides Hybrid (though they play a lot of prog too) he's the only one to rinse a pure breaks set in the main at Sonar at Vivid.... well then again we did do Atomic Hooligan with the twentyHz crew last January so maybe i'm wrong..... well.... whateves.... main room breaks are cool.....
