Signum- Netherlands  (A State Of Trance / ID&T / Ministry Of Sound) http://www.signum-djs.com  Biography  Signum is the combination of two talented producers in the Europian music industry.They are Pascal Minnaard, ( age 27) and Ronald Hagen (also age 27). As neighbours they live in Zoetermeer, a little city nearby The Hague,there homebase in The Netherlands. Pascal & Ron first met eachother in highschool.This was the place were they found out that they had the same interest in making music, and started to do some work together.Although they lost contact, they both continued making there music. During that time, Pascal got a record contract at the Dutch label/agency BPM_Dance.Here he made his first track, under his own name on the label 4-Play (Inside a Rainbow).For his second release, he started working under the name Signum.On BPM's biggest label JINX he released: "Flow of Knowledge" "The other side" "Adapter" At this time Pascal met up with Ron again. Ron also signed up with BPM_Dance and they started producing together again. Not knowing that this turned out to be a huge succes.Because when they released their first track together, in 1997 on the JINX label,called "What you got for me", the record became a huge club anthem. And with it's re-release in 2001 (on TidyTrax) it even got in the UK Top40 ! In de mean time they did a remix for "Travel" called "Bulgarian",which also did well in the clubcharts and was well received by a lot of Dj's. Under there own names, Ron Hagen & Pascal M. they did some other releases. Such as: "Forever" "Take u there" Britisch producer/DJ Scott Mac was interrested in working with Signum.So they teamed up and out of that collaboration came "Coming On Strong" which also became a huge clubhit.This established their name as Trance producers. After that they were frequently asked for a lot of remixes, such as: Lost Tribe- " Game Master"(Hooj Choons ) Blank & Jones - "After Love" ATB - " 9pm (Till i come)" (Ministery of Sound) KayCee - " Escape " (Additive) Straydog (Dj Tiesto) - " Mirror " (Black Hole) Alice Deejay & DJ Jurgen - "Better of Alone" (Violent Records) Yves the Ruyter - "To the Rythem" (Bonzai) Spacebrothers - " Shine " (Manifesto) And many more............ After finishing all these remixes they started focussing on there own productions.They came back with "Solar Level " and after that even stronger with "First Strike",which received support from many leading DJ's/producers including,Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten , Dj Tiesto , 00'Flemming and many more! This hit was soon followed by some more,"Cura Me", "Second Wave" & "Third Dimension" , which where all released on Jinx. (also frequently played in sets of the worlds leading Trance Dj's!! ).And their remix for "Oceanlab" called "Beautyfull Together" ,already showing signs of being another massive track ,will soon be released on "Captivating Records". They also produce under the alias "D-Factor" (The Wrong Shake) .These productions are more techno based . Pascal & Ron a.k.a Signum have also been busy with their DJ carreer.They played at some of the worlds most famous clubs in the world, in Japan, Ibiza, UK , Ireland , Canada, Swiss, Germany and Mallorca and Malaysia. In July 2001 they made their U.K. debut with a three hour set at Gatecrasher.Since this impressive debut they've played in U.K.'s best clubs,such as, "Godskitchen", "Slinky" and "Gatecrasher" ofcourse not forgetting the great festivals, "Global Gathering", "Homelands", & "Summer Sound System". Signum's sound of euphoric Trance have won many admirers up & down the U.K.. Although, it's Union who deserves the credit here! I'm really excited for this opening night. These guys are sick !!The rest of the month has a big surprise in store as well !!Look for more UK and Holland headliners for the month of oct and the rest of the year !! Union has combined forces with Plush entertainment to provide some sick saturday night fun the rest of the year !!

Anyone want to do the homework and see when the last time Signum was here??
Must have been a long time ago, because they were supposed to come for Spooky 6 that's all I remember. Also, I'm pretty sure this will be the first time Ron & Pascal will be preforming in Vancouver together!!! =)

Hmmm... That was more of an invetation that anything. Anyone who messages me before they come to Viva doesn't have to pay cover(unless it's a special event), and I will usually hook them up with a few drinks to boot. Didn't mean to come across that way at all. As for Plush, we'll see if we can if we can hook up some drink specials for you guys.
We're throwing this night for the people, Plush is a nice venue now. It will be nice to see world class talent almost every Saturday, finally being able to drink when doing so. I for one am a little tired of attending 'raves' and not being abel to kick back and have a few drinks. It will be a more mature crowd @ Plush. We're doing our best to bring back the good name of trance in Vancouver!!! Can't wait for Signum :)

Personally, I REALLY like the PLush venue....and the fact it is a 5 min walk from my place ia a bonus (btw Sat pre parties at my place!!!) Free parking too. I know Danny didn't mean it to sound that way, hopefully there will be some nice drink specials. Im gonna be there every Sat. Union you shoud sell some sort of VIP card that gets discount on tickets (and drinks maybe?) that would be kewl! When can we expect some more dates/headliners announced?
