SYNERGY Thursdays- Every thursday,,, West Coast Muzic and h20 productions bring you SYNERGY. Thursdays are much more laid back and best of all... much cheaper than Fridays! Cover is free before 11 and just $5 after that. This night is an effort to bring together people with the same interests and love for music,,, and it's also a great chance for up and coming DJ's to showcase thier new talents. Any DJ's that are interested in playing at our night should contact myself or DJ Res(Retro1). Last but not least,,, you have to check the drink specials... Thursdays are TOONIE night!!! :keebler: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FRIDAYS- Fridays at Viva are off the hook!!! We start the night off with some nice progressive house and work our way into more enregetic trance. You can expect to hear the same muisc that all of your favorite DJ's are playing,,, from Sasha&Digweed to Paul Van Dyk,,, Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren,,, and many many more. Cover is more,,, and the night is alwys near capacity,,, so come early to avoid disapointment. DJ's that will appear regularly at this night inlcude Grooverobber,,, Scotty-Oh,,, Azim,,, Rosco-P,,, Double Down,,, Sean Walsh and many other special guests. Don't miss his first appearance at our night! 11:00-12:30 AZIM - Twisted/Reality Ent. Ricey- Thursdays are far less busy and the crowd is more diverse. Fridays are VERY busy with the crowd being primarily Asian,,, although I don't see any problems with this. AND OF COUSRE... the music for both nights ROCK!!!

Last night was our best night yet ;-) I think it's pretty safe to say that we have the best trance night in Vancouver :trippin: Thanks again to all the DJ's that played last night,,, and make sure to check out the offical SPOOKY after-party on Halloween night/ peace.

09:00-11:00 Eris (Progressive and Hard Trance) Well incase you didn't already know... Eris will be playing the offical Spooky pre-party this friday. Come and see what Vancouver's only female trance DJ has planned for what will surely be an awesome night ;-) 11:00-12:30 Danny Taylor (Progressive House and Trance) heheheh not much to say here,,, but if you'd like to hear what I'll be playing in Asia and Hong Kong next month,,, then don't miss out! =P 12:30-2:00 Res & Montana- DJ Tag Team (Hard Trance) This will be the first time these two have graced the decks at Viva since last month.... It will be a busy week for M&R as they are also playing at the Spooky pre-party. Ross has literally rocked it the last 3 times he has played at VIVA. It's rare to see a Vancouver DJ with as much energy and intensity as he brings to the decks. ever so often we will have breaks on thursdays, last week we had patticus playing breaks, so we are switchin up this week and opting for progressive, but fear not, another breaks night will be happening at viva again in the near future, mabey another 2 x 4 night is in order Lex1 Lex1 Lex1 Lex1

While we're on the subject of breaks...
You have to understand where the club located,,, and most of the people that come to our nights don't like breaks. Now,,, I don;t have a problem with helping out some breaks DJ's here and there,,, but pretty much the only time this is going to fly would be in an opening spot on thursdays. If people show interest in them,,, then we'll see what else we can do. One more thing about Patticus,,, this guy wasn't playing your tipical style of breaks. He spins Way Out West styles of breaks mixed with progressive house,,, which IMO is totally diff than Florida/funky breaks. But I'd like to keep everyone happy so we'll see what we can do. peace.

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight and of course to all the DJ's who played!
Sorry if I seemed like I was in a bad mood,,, but to tell you the truth,,, it's all the bad news I've been hearing about these days. Honestly,,, I almost brings tears to my eyes after finding out what has happened to that poor chinese exchange student. I'm glad I was able to enjoy the music and the company of some good friends tonight,,, it really helped.
