Twisted presents... BREATHE @ the PNE Collesium
Twisted in association with Nocturnal Productions is proud to present the summers first indoor MASSIVE!!!
WHEN: July 5th, 2003 WHERE: PNE Coliseum So... BOOK YOUR CALENDARS! I am sure a lot of you remember Spooky from a few years back when Swing Kids and Twisted brought you a production that had over 5000 people attend! This event will be unlike ANY other we have done as it will incorporate Hip Hop into the mix as well. A QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU... We were looking at Jurassic 5 but unfortunately confirmed today that they have already been booked for Lalapolooza that weekend. Out of the following three, who would you want to see and why? 1.) Common 2.) The Roots 3.) Obi Trice (Eminem's DJ and one of Dr. Dre's producers) I look forward to hearing comments and suggestions from all of you! Peace. |

Good move on your parts booking hip hop acts.
Roots would probably rock it the best out of the 3, but they were JUST here a few months ago. |

We are already well under way with confirming some headliners but feel free to also include some further suggestions on who you would like to see come to the Colesium. just some fyi.
Obie Trice was the second signing to Shady Records (eminem's label) after D12. he basicly is out on stage everytime em is in em's live show, him and em are super good buddies. If you caught te eminem/50 special on much music, he was the first rapper to come out. any time you see em at an awards show, the dude rapping next to him is obie. he's been around for a long time time, and is from detroit. anyways, em and dre were majorly hyping this guy last summer/fall. the beginning of 'without me' you can hear an obie twice sample ("obie trice! real name no gimmicks!"), and he's also the guy who 'stomps moby' and says 'nobody listens to techno!' in the video. unfortunately, before it was supposed to come out, em and dre decided to delay his album. they had just signed 50 Cent, and wanted to put all of thier promotional money/time/dollars into him, because 50 had some super hot underground singles, and people were really feeling him after him blowing up on a lot of mixtapes. they decided to go with the name with the huge buzz, and shelved obie until they could devote all thier time to promoing him. so this year is supposed to be 'the year of obie' at shady records. his album shout be dropping soon, and you can already pick up his single 'rap name' which is actually quite good. it's the one the 'without me' sample comes from. |

yeah i'd really like to see common, but i dont think he'd fit the vibe. roots would be rad because it's all live instruments. obie would be my second choice becvause he would pump the crowd. i think common is more of a commodore club kinda guy, i also don't think he'd be appreciated the same.
