HYPER FRIDAY JULY 18th SEATTLE Are you ready for rave equivalent of drinking a case of Jolt Cola on an empty stomach? AGROculture is proud present HYPER! A party like no other. I know you’re probably tired of reading this on rave flyers and message boards and stuff, I know I am, but we really mean it! AGROculture has been rockin’ some of the most memorable parties in Vancouver’s history and we feel that it’s time to give the Seattle a taste of the unique AGROculture party rockin ability. Sure we take our hockey a lil to seriously , live in igloos, say eh, and pronounce the word ‘about’ in a creepy way, but rocking a party right is something that transcends cultural and political boundaries. The concept is simple, as the night progresses the beats per minute will rise and the dj’s will get crazier and crazier. Trust me…….you’ll envy your unemployed cousin who does nothing when you’re at school or work on Monday, cause it’ll take a while to recover from this party. Room 1 Hurricane Alley MARK E.G. He specializes in many different areas of dance music - ranging from the punishing rhythms of hard driving techno or the pulsating beats of hard percussive trance, to the more melodic side of European dance or progressive trance. His ability to change his style to suit all types of party, but still keep his music fresh and exciting, is presently propelling Mark right to the forefront of the underground dance movement Note……. CAPITAL J Toronto Wikkid & N20 Records, DAMN  CAPITAL J has become one of the fastest rising jungle DJ's in the history of the legendary Canadian D&B scene. His relationship with the decks began at a very young age. At thirteen, trained strictly as a battle DJ he started dominating London, Ontario's foremost scratch competitions, where he remained undefeated for five years straight. J's other forays into music making included being the main element in the hardcore hip hop/rock group, Genocide, which released one album with MCA/Universal records and toured across Canada. He was one half of The Incredible Melting Man; a live action breaks group with release's on Dust2Dust Records in the UK & 2Wars Records. Their first single, Funky Plaid Coat busted in at #13 in the DJ Magazine top 70 chart in the U.K. and earned them headlining slots alongside The Crystal Method, Fat Boy Slim and other major performing artists. When he decided to move to Toronto, he instantly took the D&B scene by storm...Scratching records with his elbows, feet and chin while introducing the world to his (now infamous) style of jump-up head crushing D&B with an arsenal of home grown Dub-plates & remixes. Within two months he was crowned DJ of the month by TRIBE magazine, and followed this up by releasing one of the city's top selling mix tape's. He currently headlines Toronto's parties as well as venues all across North America which has earned him a massive hardcore following of party goers who feed off the energy he gives off on his sets. Over the last six years J has been sharpening up his jungle production skills to match his amazing visual DJ sets, which keep him on top of the scene. His first 12" release, Bitches on London's Phobic Records, sold-out it's massive run in less than one week. Its not surprising that his follow up Paranoid Chronic was so well received by the UK's Knowledge Magazine. J's now currently releasing his hidden gems on Wikkid Records (Montreal) with such floor mashers as The Throw Down, Niagara Falls featuring MC Fats, Bumbaclott & Mr. Mister, featuring hip-hop all-star Ron B, AKA his little brother. Look out for the next 4 release's Wikkid just signed cause they're slamming. Backing up J's successes in the U.S. is the undisputed kings of coloured vinyl, N20 Records located in Los Angles California. J's first release Featuring T.O.'s MC Trigger on the floor killer Noize Check was an instant smash, Which was followed up by the Hip-hop Junglist Anthem Uppin tha Ante. Unrealistic Terroristic Acts & Ceramic was next to sell out record stores. why not do a seattle party? we can only help make the scene better by working TOGETHER to expand it.parties could have much more potential if we "shared" our local dj's, don't you think? and it could also give each cities' locals more chance to play in another country.
