the line up looks decent ..but we need some better house dj's and hardhouse dj's .. not trance or progressive trance because thats all that you bring in.. switch it up a little... bring in some real funky house dj's ... burufunk would rock the place ( he plays nu skool breaks)

looks like shybrothers and agroculure is gonna give twisted some competion . its gonna be interesting as to what may happen in the near future.. its better now that other production companies have gotten into the bigger parties. this will give the partiers a chance to see new dj's and experience new shows and programming.. i look forward to that

ahahahah
why does twisted bring tall paul and JOHN 00 FLEMING to the plaza of nations...seriously, the sound and vibe does NOT do justice to their sets....i'd easily drop $30 to see fleming alone at a club event, but at the plaza of nations, thats just not my thing. ah well, at least ya got corsten coming to a 19+ event where the sound can actually be turned up :) |

Fusion Dreams didn't have trance?? There was a ton of it that night of the hard/progessive style one can dance to.
You are correct that they stacked up the 3 rooms with different types of music and people that like their genre would go to the DJ's that were spinning it. BTW... if Armin van Buuren and Kraft Kuts are not considered really good DJ's then Twisted has got their info all wrong. |

From what I have seen Twisted prefers to have each stage set to one type of music: Trance, House, Breaks or Hip Hop.
I looked at how they setup the linup at Fusion Dreams and I thought it was kind of wacky but it was very refreshing to hear some different music in the main and theatre rooms. If you didn't get to catch John '00' Flemng at Twisted 2001 then you should know that his style isn't just trance. It's music that will pound that crap out of you and you will want more. That being said I'd love to see him play a 4 hour solo set at Cargo or the Commodore. |

altho i agree with exergo it would be nicer to see tall paul and flemming at a club since the audience there would be more into the music then the drugs, and i would be able to appreciate the music at a club better because i wouldn't have to worry about tripping on water bottles or getting hit in the nuts by a swaying geriatic. |

Part of the reason why Twisted has been focusing on Trance and Hard Trance talent is that a majority of the Top 10 DJ's in the world are just that, Trance and Hard Trance producers/DJ's! -- Since Twisted is really focusing on bringing world class talentthus why we have brought DJ's such as AvB, Ferry and a few others as well.
I have taken note though as you do bring up a valid point that we haven't brought any Hard House talent in awhile IE: any of the Tidy Boys/Girls, etc. |

VERY RECENT LINE-UP ADDITION TO THE MAIN ROOM @ BREATHE!
We are pleased to annouce the recent addition of: STEVE SMOOTH , USA - www.stevesmooth.com He has been opening on several occasians with Bad Boy Bill and has actually been signed to Bad Boy Bill's production team! -- As a result, he will be playing a special 15-minute (possibly longer) set and will be opening for BBB. For those that are not familar with Steve, have a look at his bio: Born and raised on Chicago's Southside, Steve Smooth first entered the dance music scene in 1991. Starting out at a record store and then a Chicago based independent record label, he became immersed in the house music culture. As a dj, Steve worked to perfect his style of mixing, hitting the Chicago club circuit, gaining him recognition along with guest appearances on several college radio stations, eventually leading to a frequent guest spot on the Sunday mix show, "The Street Flava," which aired on Chicago's largest radio station B96 (96.3 FM). Steve has since ventured into the studio, producing and remixing tracks for some of the hottest dance labels, including, International House Records and Moody Recordings. With his first mixes on "Everyday My Life" by legendary house diva, Dajae, and the remix of the vocal anthem, "Time" by Dajae, Steve quickly made his mark in the house and dance music community. As well, his work has received much deserved attention from Billboard Magazine. His first original production "Beat Freaker" created a frenzy on dance-floors, worldwide. Gaining recognition as a production force to be reckoned with, Steve's skills in the studio have earned him a part on Bad Boy Bill's production team, with credits on Bad Boy Bill's dance-floor hits, "Everybody," "Costa Del Sol" and "Happy." Now Steve has been taking his sound to the masses on tour as Bad Boy Bill's opening artist. Cheers. |
