Anyway good on you guys for trying to wake people up to what's happened so quickly to our society. I constantly hear people say something along the lines of who cares and how they just don't care about politics. I then refer to "If you don't take an interest in politics then politics will take an interest in you."

Good question Dale, but oddly enough not at the moment.

Unrelated to this event there is a screening of GNN's "Aftermath" going on at about 7:30pm at the Croation Cultural Centre, so after this event one can rather seamlessly go and check this out for a whole day of alternative media.

Tho dayglow was fun and all...

I only attented the Second cause I had to work during the first one.. but from wut I saw of the second one, was an excuse to party.

You didn't see anyone really presenting the purpose of that gathering, just music, ravers and a guy dancing in a suit!






Anyways... This event does look good! I'll more then likely be there.

^From what I understand Brain (Silverfish/main man who threw the event) was getting (idle?) threats from police saying the would have pulled the plug if any of the ravey rave issues would have been addressed. Not too many people that went to Dayglow knew about this, but that is why it was in a sense an excuse to party.

Luckily, the new police officer in charge of public events in Vancouver is about as interested in protests as he is with watching bread mold, the great thing here is that we really have a chance to address some of the really touchy subjects and not worry about supposed police action.

Oh yeah, ahem...1 MORE WEEK!!!

Did you hear about the ironically named "free speach zones" down in the states? The deal is you can protest in them and say whatever you want but they are located blocks away from the actual location of whatever it is that's being protested.
