its a cd of other people's music.

I don't think anyone should have to pay more than like $5 for it (for the CDR and the time it takes to burn it), unless it's a really good, creative mix. But if it's just another 15 track playlist or something, then fuck it. it should be free to download, and really cheap to get on CD.

Second reason no matter what way you put it Scott could pretty much mix any of your asses under the table.

Thirdly, IF u people were partying back in 93-94-95 you'd actually have an ounce or respect for the guy considering he pretty much introduced us (Vancouver) to speed garage and the klubbheads. He also threw countless parties and brought tons of dj's for your ungrateful asses to enjoy. As for the entire speed garage craze only a few other names come to mind, "Jelo (TO) - Back in the day " and Mykee (VIC)- last few years.

Fourthly, he was one of the first promoters to book me. A party that was called "Stay Tuned".

Fifthly, he's a friend.

is cuz we both did our first shows on the same day

Yes I forgot to mention Czech..point taken I used to go see him at luvafair every wednesday....but the point is when u mention the word speed garage u think of Scott or in your case Czech. However Czech rarely plays any garage anymore.

As for Sean...can't say i heard him play any speed garage...when he opened ff (when it used to be on the top floor) he was spinning progressive.

Maya - Never heard em play.

All i stated was i started partying back in 93 and when Scott came along is was a really nice change from all the progressive stuff.

We used to go to parties when they were at old locations like 339 hastings....the theatre at hastings & main...and the building across from Bassix. Not to mention all the locations on triumph st and a wack of other locations.

Doh has been an annual event for 3 years now. That brings us back to 98 right there. So i guess Scott can fully clear this up.

Yeah...I understand your point of view...But a lot of Mainstream promoters do that now...Eg. They say a headliner is coming and they end up being a no show...Of course I feel jipped cause I pay $$ $25-+ to go see that Dj spin and they end up being a no show!! Who wouldn't right? But then what? Your never ever gonna go to their parties again? Even though you know majority of the time the party will be good and made your hard earned $$ worth it...Just because they fcuk up time to time you shouldn't use that against them all the time...
