Holy shit people calm down with the lineups.

^^
this is where i never agree with people. u say dooms was a dissapointment so that is causing u to maybe not want to attend solids next party in NYE. Dooms was a dissapointment to me too but that doesn't stop me. Solid can only do such much as to provide us with sick lineups. whether the music will be bumpin or hurting that night is out of their control. Once again i think solid will provide us with a sick lineup for NYE. Dont have doubt buddy just go haha |

Didnt hit doomz night - but I heard about it - and I saw pictures of the crowd and yeah........New Years Eve is the single biggest party night of the entire YEAR - and the single biggest party night going on into the NEXT YEAR. So in a very warped way - a two days huge party night ----- and I ssooooo want to hit a mini APEX for this - a massive - with thousands and thousands of people.
and because of t his reason is the reason we are very likely hitting this up despite the lineup. But I still wouldnt mind seeing what talent Im getting myself into before I go buy my ticket - juss to be on the safe side. Because Old School here in town does actually look kinda tempting.... despite where I am - CANT WAIT TO PARTY FOR NYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I think all you people need to relax with the lineup.
If they say they will deliver, then they will deliver. it's up to you whether or not to believe them. If you don't like the line up and you've already bought a ticket i'm sure you would be able to sell your ticket at the same base price you paid down the line. Let them do business and everyone else stick to raving. tickets are starting at 60 dollars. if you know you have nothign else to do on new years then grab a ticket from ticketmater or ASAP. if you are using the lineup as an excuse. STOP. If you are a promoter in the scene and you are just really anxious. put yourself in the position. everyone should just shut up for a while. |

its not everyones fault that they are bitching... a few pages back solid said they would post the line up... which if was true it should have been up 4-5 days ago. SO i can see why a few people are getting a little edgy
in my opinion dont say something that your not gonna do |

Dooms Night was amazing, I loved it. Anne Savage was wicked. NYE 2005 will be even better. I want to know the rest of the line-up too, but Kai Tracid will be in Vancouver, at a rave, on New Year's Eve 2005, that alone is worth getting a ticket for this party. The we have BT playing a live set that will be wicked. $60 for tickets is so worth it, damn 2 years ago I paid $170 for my ticket for NYE 2003 at the PNE Colisium, that was one of the best parties ever.
NYE 2005 will be amazing, anyone who isn't going will miss one hell of a party. This NYE, The PNE Colisium will defenitly be the place to be at. I can't wait for the countdown and the fireworks. For me NYE will be better than Dooms Night just cause Kai Tracid will be there and he's the best dj I ever saw live. Props to SOLID!!! |

First off, did you just sign up on Fnk to just post that comment? Anyways, lets get this straight, New Year's Eve is NO JOKE. The cost is super expensive. Who would want to work on nye? Workers, Djs, police, first aid attendants, security, fire marshalls, permits, insurance, VENUE and bunch of other stuff cost X2 the cost. Hence, the ticket pricing is reasonable. Look at the lineup and compare it with others on nye. You can ask around any promoter who has done a NYE show and its not cheap. Clubs easily charge $40-$50 for advance tickets to go drinking on nye at a "regular" night besides giving a glass of free champagne and maybe a few appetizers. And who's headlining? Most clubs has locals that you can catch any other friday night (maybe a few exceptions). The cost of this show is not cheap! Get it straight people. Our ticket pricing for Dooms Night was a killer deal if you had purchased your ticket in ADVANCE. People would had been able to get tickets for like $60 a week before the show if you had looked in the classified section even on fnk. Get your advance tickets for this show and you won't be complaining later why the tickets are so expensive. If you don't want to come, it's fine with us. There's plenty of other people who are so excited for this show. We want to thank our supporters who stuck with us since day 1 and we can guarantee you its gonna be stellar NYE party this year! Let the countdown begin! Cheers, stan. ps: Lineup out in 2 hours or so. Last edited by -STAN-; Nov 19, 04 at 02:24 PM. |
