Here for the summer

Hey! So I ditched Edmonton to come to Vancouver for what I deem to be the 'summer of awesomeness'. I=Lindsey. 25 year old, happy go lucky kinda girl.

Just got here last week, subletting a place in Kits & so far am diggin it here. Good times going to Amon Tobin, Antibalas, chilling on Wreck, and just generally wandering around.

Anyway I would love to find a kind of smaller, tight-knit community type party or two while I'm here. If anyone could point me in that direction, it'd be swell! I'm thinking everything else will be pretty straightforward to find.

I'm into all sorts of music. Glitch, jungle, breaks, house (from funky to deep), techno, downtempo, psydub etc... Of course, lots of other non-electronic music too. Pretty much anything not hard (sorry no offense to any hardhouse/ gabber/ happy/ hardtrance fans)

and hey, I know very few people in Van, so if there's anything cool going on (non-music related) invite me. I won't be weird, I swear! hah :P

Thanks everyone, I'm really stoked to be in Van. It'll be so nice to have a lot of time this summer, I've been working every summer since I was 15. (booo) hah
