Hey All,
I was looking around for random ass forums about raves and dances and shiznit like that, found this one, and so far Ive been impressed. 2) At least I know how to use apostrophes 3) I used to say Uber a whole bunch. Once I said "And by uber, I mean very!" (That of course was a play on words, as uber doesn't mean very at all. For that matter, given the literal translation of uber, your flame makes little sense. I'll try to hone my x-ray vision and ability to move faster than a speeding bullet late). Later, I sat in on my girlfriend's CMPT 101 course. They were doing something involving vowels. So I needed two variables for each vowel. I had afoo, efoo, ifoo, etc. (apparently they weren't allowed to use arrays... wtf?) and for my second variable I had abar, ebar etc.... and when I got to ubar: int ubar = 0; // And by ubar, I mean very. Am I l33t enough for you? Or do I need to make some more witty thinkgeek quotes?

Wow hahahaha ok seriously NOOOOO need to get so bitter about that darlin, we all have our little ways of saying things, and this IS a forum, so its not exactly perfect...just CHILL OUT mmmmm k?? Be heppy heppy and love yourself so that you can love others.
PS> "uber" in German means "over" Im well aware but I think Im allowed to use it however I want. Its sort of generic these days to mean whatever you want. So dont stress over the angle of my dangle!!

mmmmmm k....didnt you ever think for JUST a second that perhaps the title of the book was translated a bit more flowery because it is a prosy, albeit philosophical novel? The DICTIONARY denotation definition is clear, but of course there are always little connotations here and there and everywhere. Anyhow, Im really very much done argueing about a fucking german word hahaha ON MY THREAD too!!! Lets just hug and make up mmm k? I want to love everyone, not make war with anyone.

Hohboyhohboyhohboy Have you ever taken a linguistics course in your life? Ever notice that there are like 8 kabillion translations of various ancient texts? Art of War, Tao Te Ching, The Bible. Why? Because there are no dictionary definitions. *sigh* You're the one getting worked up, kiddo. I'm feeling fine thank you. But Uber still translates as closely as possible to "Super". "Overman" doesn't work. And super is actually a synnonym to the word "over" (sup denotes "over" whereas the more commonly used sub denoted "under"). Especially when being used in common english jargon, people say "That's ubercrazy" they mean "supercrazy". In fact, the word "super" comes pretty directly from the german "uber". Care to keep trying?
