I heard that fido stopped distributing the hiptop...if that's true, then the closest thing you'll find is the UTStarcom 6700 or, to a lesser extent, another windows-mobile device such as the newer Palms or the Motorola Q. Msn me and I can give you a rundown. :)

ive paid my bill on time every month, whether it was in my moms name or not. I dont give a fuck about your credit beuro (sp).....id rather give my 200 dollar deposit to rogers where I can at least get decent customer service.

Everytime i want into a telus store i get looked down upon cuz the contract isnt in my name....not right

why didn't they offer you thew spending cap? You've been dealing with idiots.

If the deposit comes up $400 or less, we can offer you a temporary "cap" on your account instead of paying a deposit up front. So you pay no deposit, but there is a rule you can only have one phone on the account and you can't let your bill go over $200. pay your bills on time for a year and they take the cap off. WTF...so easy, takes 5 minutes.

^ yup.. for the last three months they've been double billing me for wireless web usage (email only), when i already have a plan to cover it. getting annoying.

rogers has been good so far though. except the one dumbass in tech support, but that was it.
