Numark DM1050 Vs. Gemini PS-525 Pro

They are both shit mixers, but I am wondering which is better?

I've got the DM-950 and it's serving me well.

So I imagine the step up from that should be decent too.

I haven't used either, but the Numark has a cleaner layout so thats my pick.

Gemini mixers are pretty terrible. I've used them before, and they were nothing but problems right out of the box.

Of course Numark mixers are problems, but you've got a good 3 months before you start to notice them.

If you beat the fuck out of your equipment of course it'll die quickly.

My neighbour has had a Numark DM-2002X for about 6 years and it still works beautifully. But he's also the most anal person you've ever seen when it comes to his stuff. But it's lasted and it's still soldiering on.

heh I have the dm1050.. basic 2 channel mixer which is all I need... However I certainly want a djm-400 :) .... Those 2 channel mackie mixer's are also sexy to.

^ The Mackie d.2 is a sweeeeet Mixer for sure. I've used it a number of times and it's wunderbar! Built like a Tank.

I'd have to say though in the price range those two mixers are new there are a few better options out there.

American DJ now American Audio makes some decent stuff that that price level that has pretty good scratch capabilities as well and full EQ cuts on some of em.
