Well. Very fustrated. Had a ton of problems with pop and click issues. Got really pissed off and said "fuck it, I'm going to Live 7".

Rebooted the os, loaded up live, messed about with it for a bit, realized it's not what I'm into. The midi in live is brutal if your into programing the pianroll (I can't play keys worth shit, I don't care how much you quantize me I still suck). I'm sure Live does have it's applications durring live gigs.

Ok, now I've been reading the forums at cakewalk and it seems that lots of peeps with way higher speced machines than me are having the same pop, clicks, and other little anoying fuck ups that Sonar 7 is doing to them.

Why can't they have a product that works? Done easy? I hate having to do all this other extra stuff to get my daw running! I have to find all the latest drivers for all my fucking shit on my aging dell 4600 (I love this machine, so many hours spent together, learning how to make music). That probly won't fix it!!!!!

And your thinking why not use the version that works (6). Well that would be too simple, cause now in version 7 there is internal routing for sidechaining(one fucking route!). I need to use sidechaining because I want to utilize the ducking effect with compressors. Essential to house music, we all know and love. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope to recieve new employment soon so I can BUY A MAC PRO, and INSTALL LOGIC, because it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can sidechain all day hahahhahahahhahahhaha with ease! ok compressor on channel 3(pad) input------->sidechain------>track one(kick) done!!! It's pumping now bitches!!!!!!!!!!

Sonar 7 sidechaining= Only one signal at a time=Bouncing tracks way too often=lame!!!!!

i guess I could go back to Sonar 6 and just use an lfo triggering a filter.... no wait that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sidechaining sounds like shit. I hope that people will realize that soon and stop using it. I fear that it'll be the one thing that sticks around after electro is completely dead and gone. =(

The electro guys wanking on it the way the French House guys wanked on the filters. I can't freaking stand it. All it does is make EVERY SINGLE SONG SOUND THE SAME.
