What do you use as your poker thingy?

Poker Thingy. The tool one uses to 'poke' the ends of joints or clean the inside of your pipe/bong bowl. I'm not sure if there's a proper technical name for it..

Perhaps I've never known a name because everyone's is always different. I've used the stick end of bottle rockets, the insides of ball point pens, nails and right now i'm using a rifle bullet.

What do you use? is it functional as a poker? why?

My rifle bullet is a shell from a Winchester rifle that was shot but did not fire. It's copper in color and has a long pointy tip that's perfect for getting into small or even fatty joints. I like it because it's a good conversation piece amongst stoners.

I dunno. Maybe you don't have a dedicated poker thingy in your weed stash (yet)!

i use my car keys. i dont blaze much tho, so im definitely not going to get a dedicated 'poker thingy'

i have to admit tho the rifle bullet thing is pretty cool.

ive been calling it a scraper for years, as has most people ive come across. i always thought that was a set term... anyway

i have had a few good ones. one of the best was a very thin flathead screwdriver, just bigger than one for glasses. got it pretty hot and bent it to shape and got one side sorta sharp. good for gettin the really crazy oil out. most of my tools have been simmilar in design.

the plus side the the screw driver was that it was perfect width on the back end for packing a joint down in case of a faulty roll job, cause its always impossible to find a bic pen in that situation.

I never had one personally, but a friend of mine obtained a number of fire extinguisher pins from doing fire fighting drills at work. You can hook them on your key chain and they work really well.

at home also use snips.

You know, I've never really heard a more official term for it than "poker thingy" or even "pokey thingy". That's the most generic description people ever have for it. But it's consistently used amongst stoners.

I use wooden kebab skewers to clean out my pipe, can use them to pack down joints too.

Also roach clips tend to work as well.

A lot of my old island hippie friends would keep a cool little gem or stone that was small enough to be used as a pokey-thingy.

a small screwdriver, pens, incense sticks, bobby pins(i seem to have these around, gonna blame my hairdresser sisters), skewers, whatever i've got around really.

the fire extinguisher pin is top shelf. and yeah, I've used random bobby pins many a time too. However, I've never used an incense stick! You know that 'poker thingy' you use to hollow out walnuts? I've used that before.

Endjammers or GTFO. Most people tear up rollie packages or club flyers for that shit, just gets flecks of paint in your smoke, which you ultimately inhale. Worse for you than the shit coming off the joint!

I use used bus transfers for filters if nothing else is around.

oh for shure man. raw card is the best way to go. i try not to use rolly card cause then your rollys get all fucked up
