IRREGULAR / SUPER FAST HEARTBEAT when smokin craun?
k so everytime i smoke weed now my heart rate increases to the point where it almost feels like its hurting and im going to freak out an die.
a friend of mone says this is cause i used to smoke weed whenever i did e (so an already raised heartbeat) and now my body just associates being stoned with having a raised heartbeat like on e. i call total bullshit on this theory. but anyways.... honestly it feels like my heart is going so fast its going to burst. NOT pleasent. anyone else get this?

It is possible that it is a psychosomatic response but if I were you I'd get it checked out.
Issues with your heart should not be dealt with lightly.

no, thats happens sometimes
and then the times after its just in your head.. i know its happened to most everyone i know.. it should stop happening it did for me, and i know sh4un told me about it happening to him as well before or some people say they have problems breathing.. i've never had that but i've heard about it

I think that happens to everyone at one time or another. And i Agree with Kevin that it is now just in your head. Every time you smoke now you are expecting a palpitaion of your heart, so you pretty much mentally force it to happen. The mind is a powerful thing. I would try to take a few puffs and just relax without checking your pulse to see if it has increased. Try hard not to think about your heart rate when your smoking and see if it helps. If it continues to happen I would see a docter. Same shit happened to me and I went and got a ton of bloodwork done just to find out that I have a perfectly healthy heart. After that I just figured that if my heart is gonna have a heart attack or something serious then there is nothing I can do about it anyway. Since I made that concious decision it hasn't happend again.

I'm not an expert or pro-smoker but...
It's happened to me before and i'd say its a combination of paranoia and the fact that your lungs and chest cavity are both under attack. Breathing becomes difficult and the mind seems to convince us that our lungs are gonna explode or we're choking. It's odd because it only seems to happen with some types of bud.
