200 proof alcohol is 100% pure alcohol so good luck trying to find it at a store. You'd be fine if you could find yourself some 160 proof vodka of some sort..... you might have to make a trip to the states

I couldn't find where it said that "wormwood in it's active form ( extracted using alchohol ) is illegal in North America." All I could find was that "In the U.S., traditional Absinthe is illegal to sell for human consumption because it contains the chemical thujone which is banned by the FDA for use in foods" and "Canada: Thujone containing absinthe available in liqour stores, including the Czech brand Hill's Absinth which is a very low thujone brand. We have been told that all brands of absinthe commercially available in Canada contain extremely low levels of thujone". Am I reading the wrong place?

i'm in :) Can i crash at your place tho... umm look on the net. theres absinth sites that review all the good ones. There was a huge article in a Maxim mag. once about it... i think most absinth over there is good because its legal there, we get stuck with the shitty stuff over here tho.
