Oh my, how you've so largely missed the point: It absolutely doesn't matter even if there's rat shit in most ecstasy; the undeniable fact is that more than 99.99% who use ecstasy at least once in a year (and that assumes they know fuck all about what's actually in it, just like you) will not die from it. That risk is about equivalent to that of smoking marijuana; you're just as likely to find some deadly tab as your are to buy some weed laced with cyanide. It just doesn't happen.

More statistics that people are conditioned to ignore:
0.02% of people who take penicillin (mmhmm, from the doctor) in any given year will die from a previously-unknown anaphylactic allergic reaction. Compare that to 0.004% of all ecstasy users--be they frequent. seldom, heavy or light--who will die from ecstasy (and that also means any of the shit it's made of) or ecstasy-related problems. Get this right: You are 5 times more likely to die from antibiotics from Pfizer & doctor than from a mystery pill from some crackhead's dirty kitchen. Christ, it's not that complicated! You've just gotta be able to see past all that lovely propaganda. Mushrooms, LSD, Weed and Ecstasy--to name a few--don't kill people. THEY'RE NOT DANGEROUS IN THE LEAST●

Ah, but this uncertainty is no cause for complaint or concern. Criminalizing ecstasy deregulates its production and effectively increases the variety of the buyer's choice. If someone sells you crappy jib and calls it E, don't go back. There're plenty of other people who'd love to sell you great stuff so that you'll keep coming back. Personally, I rarely come across bad E; I think it's harder to find here than decent stuff. Am I just lucky, or do most people agree?

last time i got bad e in vancouver was when my friend was askin for bad e, and bought off some guy under the skytrain who said his friend traded him a crack rock for a few pills
