jim pattison chrysler is looking for lot attendants for the sales department. they have pretty much just lost the whole "lot staff" and are down to 2 guys. Sales has had a problem with finding ther right people. last few months have been strange older guys or kids fresh outta high school who end up slacking off and quitting cuz they ask for a few days off then dont show up ever again.

basically if you come in and apply and you arent a retard they will hire you. just have a decent driving record. and if you actually apply yourself, and trust me it isn't hard work at all, if you can show that you have some brains and can get the few duties that you have done properly, you will be upgraded to lot manager in no time. cuz they dont have a lot manager at the moment and its someone they need. but you have to know the system first before you can become manager of the lot.

im pretty sure the shifts are:

tuesday - saturday. 9:00 - 5:30
monday - friday. 12:30 - 9:00
thursday - monday. 8:00 - 4:30

and if you are able to land the lot manager position you'll have:

monday - friday 7:00 - 4:00 or something like that.

so if you need work or got a friend looking they can come down and will probably start working the next day.

its an easy job, us younger guys are easy to get along with, medical and dental after 3 months. SIIIMPLE.

What is the pay like? I have automotive experience, im an apprentice mechanic. So I figure this would be pretty easy, but im looking to make at least $10/hour to get out of debt right now.

im not 100 percent sure what pay would be, but im geussing like 8.50 - 9.50. basically its not to difficult of a job and all the duties are straight forward so pretty much anyone can do it.

You would think that i would get paid more wouldnt ya? I went to college n shit too, but no. I was working at fountain tire and getting fucking 8 bucks an hour, its bullshit. I was getting 10 an hour back in Victoria. But im only a first year apprentice. But still im working 10 times harder than alot of people and getting paid the same amount as a freaking high skool kid working at McDonalds. But i guess i can't be too picky, i'll take any mechanic job i can get considering most people wont hire me cause im a girl. Ive applyed at 45 different shops before i got a job, and now i get 8 bucks. So i dont really know what to do.
