I was a die hard Atari fan when it first came out...Then I was a die hard Sega fan...Now I'm all about the Playstation...So PS3 for me!!!

The phantom is a joke, its a dreamcast waiting to happen. As for who will dominate in sales, I think it'll be a pretty close tie, with wii sales leading in north america while ps3 sales dominate the japanese market, unless the nostalgia kicks in and everyone feels like saving 300 bucks.

I will personally be buying the wii, not sure if im going to line up for a console, or if im going to wait until the hype dies down/glitches are taken care of (but to be honest ill be surprised if its anything close to what happened with the first batch of 360s). It seems like nintendo would rather push back a launch date and perfect things rather rush production and encounter bugs.

One way or another, I WILL own a wii for the launch of super smash brawl, I have never been more psyched for any other title in my life then this one. Lets not forget, this whole console battle vs the wii and the ps3 might also give insight into what media format might be the next to takeover dvds, be it the blu-ray (ps3, expensive to make, huge storage), or the hd-dvd (nintendo wii, cheaper, less storage). Theres obviously more details then that but thats the jist of it. Whos lining up/camping out to get one of the first?

You forget that M$ has a HUGE headstart on the competition right now.... if you actually go to the professional analysts they say that M$ is getting closer and closer to that top spot.

A lot of them are also saying that when the dust settles you'll see the 360 on top of the rubble. Who knows really... I can't say that I know for sure. What I do know is that a 10 million unit headstart is a big hill to climb.

but I've been a loyal nintendo supporter ever since I was old enough to hold a game controller.

You just have to wonder how far technology will go, or what the future systems will be all about, hey? So, will it be a couple more years before we see add-ons or whatever technology these corporations will think of?

i will be buying a Wii for myself and i'll probably go in on a ps3 with my room mates or something. dont really want to shell out 700 bucks for a video game system. especially seeing as how as i get older my attention span for video games seems to decrease more and more every so often.

I guess we will really find out the true power of the PS3 graphics when it comes out. I don't believe they were movies at E3. Why would Sony lie to the entire gaming world? Those games will be with the launch so give 'em a test.

i think xbox or nintendo will take this one easilly. Few reasons for this, the cell processor which is used in ps3 is not going to be fully utilized for a few years until the games are written to take advantage of so many processors. The first ones will only use a few of the PS3s processors. Over all Microsoft are just bastards when it comes to competition they are releasing HALO 3 xboxs number 1 game at the time of the PS3 launch. That alone should take a serious bite out. Not to mention id rather go get a number one game for my xbox than get a whole new console. Im sure it will be number one in japan tho. Too bad Ps3 owns my favorite game Tekken gah.

Actually i can confirm some of them at E3 were movies of the games and not actual live footage gameplay from the games itself. I read it on IGN way back. But with that said I still think ps2 graphics will be nuts. I dont care im getting all 3 anyways. Let the gaming begin!

Yeah I just read the artical. Ouch. But enough speculation, I will just try the systems when they come out!
