And no, she should not lose the title. So what about drugs and such? Big whoop. It's 2006 for cryin out loud. There are tons of beautiful people who like to indulge and get a little messed up every now and then... and that can lead to fooling around with someone of the same sex/or who isn't your boyfriend/ whatever. Everyone does it. Or everyone has done it. Its really not a biggie anymore. If she won the pagent, she won because of her "talents" on the spot. What someone can dig up about her AFTER the fact she's won is just really hurting.

the big deal is that the MISS USA title is given to someone to be a role model, when she took the crown she said women like britney spears and lindsay lohan were poor role models for young women (ha!) and the big deal is that it's not like she engaged in debaucherous things prior to her being in the pagent, she did it after she was handed the title.
Everyone does it, and if she wants to be like every other young woman, then she can go ahead, being miss usa you get a lot of good shit, but there's also responsibility that goes with it, so perhaps if she was yearning to go buckwild, she should have done that instead of deciding to go this route. ugh and she's insanely average looking.

So yes, she is supposed to be a good role model for young women, which is why her actions while still underage have almost lead her to lose the title (and rightfully so)... but what I don't get is that while they do mind her recent behavior, they don't seem to mind having her in photo shoots where she is wearing skimpy little bathing suits with her sex face on. I guess while the actions are highly frowned upon, looking like a sex symbol in photos is still perfectly acceptable? I find that pretty contradictory on their behalf...

Please. If they were really supposed to be role models, they wouldn't include beauty as a requirement for entering and winning. They'd be bringing in doctors and scientists. . . you know, someone you can actually be like without a surgeon's help.

I believe the sex issue was the fact that it was with another woman. Remember, this is Dubya's government, and role models should be straight in every manner of the word, abide by the law, vote for the ones with money, have blonde hair, blue eyes, etc etc.
