Going to Thailand

Yes, tomorrow morning I will be aboard a lovely Royal Thai airline jet heading for Bankok. Yes, Bankok and Phucket sound like dirty words, but it's high season and I'm looking forward to the beaches and amazing food. To make it even better, I am going with my beautiful Japanese girlfriend. Life is good.

YUCK, puket is gross, bangkok and espically pattaya are nightmares as well......goodGOD STAY OUT OF pattaya....lols

in the south defianly stop and chill on ko samui. be sure to stay on lamai beach cause its much quiter then chawang beach wich thinks its like a little hawai/miami with starbucks and shit...

and you MUST go up to chaing mai. chaing mai is AWSOME. i recomend staying at juiles guesthouse located inside the walls of the old city. rent yourself a motorbike and just get lost. you can easilly find replacement parts when you crash your scooter.....lols.

unless your going into cambodia, ko-samet is alright i guess as far as western thailand gose...

enjoy! and rememember....no more then a few bhat anywher in bangkok on a tuk tuk......and you dont want to take the city tour. well, sometimes you might hahaha.

man, all these people talking about thailand makes me want to go again.

Bangkok is great, its koh sahn road that is shit. Have fun, Hedonism is only a flight away.

oh i'm SOOOO jealous! ko sahn road is really fun right after the sun goes down at nite. theres a lot off little alleys around that area that if you can find them are very cool to check out.
chaing mai is the shit... so green and luscious, out side of the city anyways. rent a song tau and get him take you about an hour outside of the city to some caves. we found this tiny little village where we chatted with some monks and explored caves with shrines in them and bats. One of the hi lites of my whole trip! my buddy even got bit by some sort of lizard! he turned out to be okay though. dumbass for trying to pick it up by the tail though.

Save your Christmas shopping until Bangkok and skip Phuket. Its sleazy and not a couple friendly place at all. Unless you are a fat balding European man and your gf is a young thai woman.

And go to Rai Lei, Krabbi if you want beautiful beaches.

LOL both times I went I stayed in Pattaya cuz I have family that lives there. It's not too bad, but the beaches aren't that great. Jomtien beach is pretty nice. I was told Pattaya was the lady boy capital of thailand...i took a walk down boys town and soem of the guys were whistling at me..i was completely confused.

Koh chang in the east is a nice place, take a boat from Trat to get there, if you do go, stay at a place called "treehouse" it is a very secluded place to stay and the owners are great.


if you go to koh phagan for the full moon party be sure to get a place away from the main beach, or you will be kept up all night by the clubs


and dont drink mushroom shakes your first night there, cause you might sketch out and think your being watched by animals in the bush. Then you might sit in the shower for 3 hours and watch ants come out of the drain. You might also think you have lost your passport, if thats the case check under your bed because thats were i found mine.
